How we handle your data

CBCT Dent is a referral-only dental CBCT imaging centre in central London, operated by Vital Europe Dental. We are a diagnostic operator only — referred patients remain the patient of the referring practice.

Referring practices sign in to a private portal to submit referrals and download scans. Sessions are protected by industry-standard auth tokens, and each practice can only see its own referrals and scans.

Administrative tools (uploading completed CT scans, reviewing referrals) are restricted to verified members of our internal team. Practices cannot upload scans or view other practices' data.

When a practice submits a referral we collect the information needed to perform and return the scan: patient name and date of birth, the referring clinician, the requested CT type and clinical indication, and contact details for the practice.

Quick enquiries from the website collect only the contact details and message the referrer chooses to provide.

Completed CT volumes are stored in a private storage bucket. Practices download their scans via short-lived signed links generated only after we verify the request comes from the practice the referral belongs to (or an administrator). Scans are not publicly listable or shareable.

The application runs on Lovable Cloud, which provides our managed database, auth, file storage and serverless backend. Website analytics use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Transactional email delivery is handled by our email provider.

These providers process data on our behalf strictly to operate the service. We do not sell referrer or patient data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.

We use a small number of first-party cookies to keep you signed in to the referrer portal, and Google Analytics / Tag Manager to understand aggregate site usage. Patient details submitted through referrals are not sent to analytics tools.

Referral and scan records are retained for as long as needed to provide the imaging service and to meet our clinical record-keeping obligations as a diagnostic operator. If you would like a referral, enquiry or account removed, contact us at the address below and we will action it.

We are a diagnostic operator. Your patient stays your patient. Always. We do not contact patients for clinical follow-up beyond what is needed to deliver the scan.

Lovable Cloud provides platform-level controls such as managed authentication, encrypted connections and isolated tenant storage. CBCT Dent is responsible for how we configure those controls, what data we collect, who on our team has access, and how we respond to your requests. Referring practices are responsible for keeping their own login credentials safe and for collecting any patient consent required before submitting a referral.
